What a grey, wet and cold day we are having today ! ! !
This heavy sky is over my head and I am having difficultlies to do, to make. . . . a feeling that everything is too much.
My solution to this: cooking: i am going for a white beans with "salametti freshi": 50% French and 50% Italian: it's like being back under a blue sky.
What you need for this recipe:
250g fresh white beans or a can
a salametti per eater
salt and pepper
a chili if you like it spicy
In a bowl, cover the beans with water and soak overnight otherwise open a can.
The next day, drain the beans.
Cut in small slices the carrots and the tomatoes,
Chop the oinon and in a large saucepan with the duck fat, fry the onion then add the vegetables.
Cook for about 6 minutes then remove from the pan and add the beans. Cover with water and bring to a first boil. Reduce the heat.
Add the vegetables, salt pepper and spices and cook for about 20 minutes.
In a frying pan, grill the sausages.
It's ready, you serve it very hot with a nice glass of red wine and you enjoy your evening nicely and satisfied.
